This course is designed to train students to be proficient at the Job Position Requirements listed in NFPA 1006, 2021 version as a Technician as well as in a team setting for NFPA 1670 (NFPA 2500) 2022 version as a Technician. This is an intensive 4 day course that has some skills on a training tower but most in real world environments. We utilize nothing but the best equipment and use scientific proven methods to achieve the most efficient rescue work. You must be Operations level certified to take this course.

Swift water rescue is a subset of technical rescue dealing in water conditions moving faster than 1knot. Due to the added pressure of moving water, swift water rescue operations involves the use of specially trained personnel, ropes and systems that are deidicated to shore based rescues and self rescue tactics. Instructed to NFPA 1006 and 2500. Our course also delivers the Flood Rescue componenets needed to prepare rescuers for Flood Rescue situations. All our courses come with a NFPA 1006 (latest version) Postion Task Book. 

This course reveiws the fundamentals of Boat Operations in a water borne environment. Tactics for boat operators and boat water borne rescues.
