Swift water rescue is a subset of technical rescue dealing in water conditions moving faster than 1knot. Due to the added pressure of moving water, swift water rescue operations involves the use of specially trained personnel, ropes and systems that are deidicated to shore based rescues and self rescue tactics. Instructed to NFPA 1006 and 2500. Our course also delivers the Flood Rescue componenets needed to prepare rescuers for Flood Rescue situations.
